Why some CV makers are “free” until the download
Many sites let you build a CV and then ask for payment to download it. Here the PDF download is free. Pro only adds extras: more CVs, Pro designs and Word files.

A good CV, in short
Keep
- Name, phone with country code, email and city at the top
- 3–4 lines of summary about the job you want
- Jobs newest first, with 3–5 points each
- Real numbers: customers, sales, team size, time saved
- One or two pages
Leave out
- “Curriculum Vitae” as a heading — your name is the heading
- Father's name, religion and caste (unless an employer asks)
- Long lists of hobbies
- Photos on CVs for most Indian private companies (Gulf jobs differ)
- Spelling mistakes: read it aloud once before sending
Questions
Is this CV maker really free?
Yes. Making CVs with the free templates and downloading them as PDF costs nothing and has no time limit. Pro is optional.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser on a phone or computer, and your CVs are saved to your account.
Will my free PDF have a watermark?
Not on the free plan as it is set up today. If that ever changes, the pricing page will say so before you download.
Can I make more than one CV?
Yes. Many people keep one CV per type of job. You can copy a CV and change it for another role.
Is my information safe?
Your CVs are visible only to you. You can delete your account and everything in it from the Account page at any time.
